If Disney gave you the Authority to add/finish ONE thing what would you do?

I second the villains meal, that would be really cool.
Also, I would like to see something else with Beauty and the Beast and/or Aladdin (Maybe a character meal of their own, or a ride, or even a resort!)

I would also love the monorail thing but that is doubtful.

I would like to see some different resort ideas that fall into a price category between moderate and deluxe (there is a big jump between these two) or more deluxe rooms at the lower end of the deluxe (like Wilderness Lodge prices)

Or, I would love to see a moderate resort that wasn't so expansive. Sometimes I would stay in a value resort because the size of the moderates make me tired just thinking about it! :rotfl:

I hope this one counts but I would like to do an upgraded River Country in Fort Wilderness Campground. Maybe one that worked on water that was not from Bay Lake.

Reopen the Adventurers Club. That's it, nothing else.

well speaking for my 2 yr old son who is a cars FANATIC. Im not kidding, we have every single car made in every form (some even 2 and 3 of each), the shake cars, the minis, the regular diecast, the big talking one, etc, i could go on and on. He would like to see more cars things.

Disneyland is putting in an entire Cars Land at California Adventure, but it will be some time before it opens - can't recall if it's 2011 or 2012.

I would build a new park that brings shows and rides and things that are not in WDW, but are in the other Disney parks to WDW.

If they did this, there would be very little reason for you to go to any other Disney theme park around the world so I doubt they would do it.

Sleeping Beauty ride or attraction for sure. She totally gets the short end of the stick and she's my fave!

Bring back the old Imagination ride. I loved that ride :(

a simple addition wold be a boy themed character meal, ie... Pirates or Star Wars

a grander idea would be buying Sea World and brining that under the WDW empire. It is such a great place, being run so badly.

Add an all you can eat option to the meal plan.

Oh and bring back Mr Toad and add the Nemo ride

I like all of the ideas for a Villains meal. I had never thought of one of those. It could be hosted by Jafar and have Captain Hook, the stepmother from Cinderella and Cruella Devil.

What is the Western River Expedition?

What resorts has Disney abandoned over the years (aside from the Legendary Years)?

of single family homes, each 3-6 bedrooms equipped with master suite (2 in 5-6 bedroom homes for multi-family vacations), a full kitchen, eating area, a private pool, and a driveway for parking. There would be bus transportation to and from the parks like the other resorts and people staying there would have EMH privileges.

We would love to stay on site, but we like so many of the things that an off-property home has to offer: many bedrooms, private baths, full kitchens, private pools (it just takes one obnoxious family to ruin an afternoon at the resort pool) and a driveway that eliminates the search for a parking spot and then a long trek through the parking lot, a long walk through the resort all while carrying a sleeping 20 month old whose eyes open the second their head hits the pillow.

If Disney offered single family homes outside of DVC ownership/rentals, I bet they'd have a lot of takers --- we'd definately be on board!

It is on its way:

http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/business_tourism_aviation/2008/08/walt-disney-w-1.html

"The resort expansion, announced last year, will include the Four Seasons hotel, fractional ownership vacation homes, custom single- and multi-family vacation homes, and an 18-hole golf course."

They also already built Celebration which is pretty much old Disney property. You can drive from Celebration to WDW without ever leaving Disney property.

I love the ride hotel idea. You could even have themed floors (HM, TOT) with hallways done up in the theme. It would have great repeat value. It would be expensive if done right but people would pay a lot to stay there. Like the Library hotel in NYC.

I would finish Beastly Kingdom or bring more to DHS (an awesome new attraction.) Oh, and take down that BAhat and bring back Sorcery in The Sky on the nights they did away with Fantasmic!

I want to see Pixar Place to its true potential with all of the movies represented with a ride or experience, there is almost the potential for a whole park with those films.

This may get a major GASP :scared1: from some members. What exactly was the Adventurer's Club? I feel like I missed something major that no longer exsists :confused3

Before I even read the thread, the first thing that popped into my head was to bring back Mr Toad's Wild Ride! LOL! I would do this or have monorails to all resorts! :wizard:

My suggestions:

MK
1. Change Stitch back to Alien Encounter
2. Change indy speedway to be cars themed and vamp it up. Can even make it indoor with a combination of 3D effects and a ride in one.
3. New character meals. Villians, Neverland (Wendy, tink, peter, capt. hook, and smee), Toy Story Characters (Buzz, woody, green army man, jessie, bo peep....this would be great for boys AND girls).

Epcot:
1. Add more smaller rides like norway/mexico to world showcase countries.
2. Change figment ride back

Ak:
Expand. Nothing more to say from what others mentioned except camp minnie/mickey is useless. All it does is house the character meet and greet and lion king. Definitely put something else there. Another country at least, like Australia or Beastly kingdom. Also needs more rides for little kids (like fantasyland). All it has is bugs life, the safari, and the triceratops spin.

The worst ride is Stitch. BRING back alien encounter!

I've at least seen a lot of kids enjoy Stitch. I don't think I've ever seen anyone look happy after the new Figment.

The monorails are a great idea! but I would...design specific one way paths all around the parks...it really bothers me when a crowd coming off an attraction takes up both sides of the street... and the family trying to walk (on the proper side of the street) has to file single line and squeeze through..I sometimes feel as though I am on a one way, going the wrong way! I think the crowds would be better managed...perhaps right side of the road going toward an attraction, left side leaving...just an idea..
