If Disney does't get rid of that darn Tommorrowland Speedway...

I took my 11 year old in February, and I think we did this attraction about 12 times over a a few days . Most of the time he "made" me ride in a different car. I think it made him feel a little in control and what boy doesn't want to drive? Its harmless and fun, and I would be sad for the kids if they ever got rid of it. When my kids are all grown up, I'll probably never wait in line for it again, but I'll keep my fond memories .

It does totally stink! Even walking by it sometimes causes me a bit of nausea. I would like for them to turn that area into something else. A new ride (not show or characters) with less smell. What I find funny is that Disney is such "environmentalists" yet that they have that stinky attraction putting off fumes and choking all of us.

I really dislike this attraction. But my young nephews LOVE IT ! Its a must do for them when I take them to Disney. We have great photos & vids of the kiddos driving the cars.

In agreement with other posters I would like to see it re-themed with Pixar Cars and maybe battery powered cars vs gas, and a re-work of the que.

My next trip is semi-solo, no kiddos... so, thankfully, will not be smelling the fumes...

I don't think the ride needs to be taken out. I think it needs to be rehabbed. First add much more shade to both the line and the ride itself. Why not make it like you're driving through a canopy road? If you go through there is not much to look at. Unless the CM is out looking for issues. Make the bleachers more comfy. Make the line more shady. Because concrete and Florida heat is such a wonderful combination.

The race track theme needs to be rethought. But don't remove it.

I understand the gas fumes but I can't understand all the hate being sent the way of the speedway. My kids love that ride, yes they are young but how is it any different then say Dumbo, tea cups etc? It is designed for young kids and from the looks of it they love it.

I agree. Disney keeps putting in more meet and greets and my family thinks that it's a huge waste of space and vacation time. Even when DS was small we didn't stand in line to see characters. It's just not for us as the speedway just isn't for some of you. No need to dis on it though.

What is wrong with all of you people? Why do you always think that people have hatred if they don't agree with you or dislike something you like? It is NOT hate to not like a ride, it is NOT hate to disagree with a persons actions, it is NOT hate to disagree with another person's preference. It we all liked the same things we would be robots.

Speedway is a stinky ride and puts off a bunch of fumes. It is bad for our lungs and the environment. If Disney was so enviro friendly as they claim, they would not want something like that in the parks.
