Just a tip I thought I'd pass on. We don't get to Dis as often as we'd like, and I'm sure there are many others like us.We bought the "official Album"by Walt Disney when we were there in 2001. It's one of the albums we all enjoy in the car.It takes you back to the magic.::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

We bought the 2 volumes of Disney's Greatest Hits when we were there in 2002 and I do find myself singing along with the kids.
I think not going as much adds to the magic somehow , although its easy to get burnt out with planning and excitement if you have too long to wait! (Hurry up timer)

Love Claire

The songs are ; FantasylandCastle Melody, It's a small world, Tiki tiki room, Grimgrinning ghoasts, Zipa dee doo dah, yo ho Pirates, Everybody has a laughing place, Davy Crockett, Mickey Mouse march, Illuminations, Space Mountain, Main street electrical parade, Finale from Fantasmic, Fantasy in the sky, and Light Magic. They are the songs that are played at the various rides and attractions in the parks.

We've got a good selection of WDW music which cover all sorts of things and they are brilliant for "transporting" you (especially during cold wet winters LOL).

My favourite is the one with music from all the parks - Splash Mountain, POC, Country Bear Jamboree, Impressions de France etc.

Illuminations comes a very close second!

We've got quite a good selection too! My favourite is my Fantasmic CD (but it can be a bit tricky driving and doing the actions at the same time!), closely followed by Tapestry of Nations!

LOL Diane! I've got a brilliant picture of you in my head now!

Am somewhat ashamed to admit that earlier this year, in the throes of severe Disney withdrawal, I downloaded the monorail track.. Y'know the one - "por favor mantegase alejado de las puertas".. I was over the moon, elated; putting it on my iPod and playing it to myself on commuter-filled tube trains...

However, once you've entertained everyone in your immediate family with six minutes of pure monorail heaven, their desire to take you with them to the Happiest Place on Earth kind of ebbs.

Can't possibly think why..

My fav is my SpectroMagic CD - I just close my eyes, and I'm there standing on Main St USA...........
We usually listen to the CD's we have - Spectro, Parade Memories and the 'Official WDW Album' Leech esq mentioned. while we are having one of our official 'planning nights' - yes sad I know.::yes:: We have American food - pizza, wedges, salad etc to make the evening complete. :cloud9:

'Transporting' is the perfect way to describe it,with no queing,no time schedules,no worries, the problem is, if you shut your eyes and imagine you're there, you stand a good chance of having a crash!! So don't dis and drive LOL.

When I need my Disney fix (which is daily at the moment) I listen to live365.com - they have disney stations and one of them, called park hopper radio, plays most of the rides from the Disney World and Disneyland Parks, it's fab and I can imagine that I'm there :Pinkbounc My favourite is the Tomorrowland Transit Authority ride (bing bing bong...now approaching Mickey's Star Traders) I also love listening to MuppetVision 3D and Philharmagic! Sad I know lol. If I crave the songs from the films, I get out my Disney Classics 5 CD boxset and sing along.
