If Cindy's Didn't Have Princesses - Would You Still Eat There?

Just wondering, I know the draw is eating in the castle with the princesses - but how does the food compare to other breakfast buffets? Our favorite character buffet is Cape May - nice selecton, always neat and clean, and a little more laid back than Chef Mickey's. This time we are planning on eating at Maya Grill for the buffet without characters.

Opinions on CRT breakfast.

We ate at CRT last thursday. It was our 4th time and probably the last for awhile. The food is average, but my biggest gripe is the characters are very rushed. It was almost to the point of being rude:confused: But we did experience something this time that we had never before, we saw Peter Pan and Hook running on the ledge outside..pretty neat.

We also did Maya Grill for the first time and it was wonderful. A very nice restaurant and very reasonably priced.

If there were no princesses and it was a buffet I might try it... but not the preplated breakfast it is now.

It is definately a nice atmosphere for dining :)

I love the atmosphere, the food was only so-so. If the Princesses were not there, no I would not have breakfast there. I would consider dinner, which does not have princesses anyway, just to try it out.

No, we would not eat there if not for the princesses. The food was not that great and the kids really didn't eat much at all.

No. We go for DD's sake (she's 6).

DH hates the food they serve for breakfast. I just don't like breakfast food period.

To be honest, Id be more likely to go back without the princesses. I have 2 DSs with no interest in princesses, and driving myself and my family insane over calling every morning was not fun. But we finally got it and all I can say is...CHEESE FILLED FRENCH TOAST!!!! OMG, that was awesome. If they had a restaurant where I could get that and those potatoes off the menu, that would be a must do for me.

Yes... the princess thing doesn't interest me - only the castle. We're doing it for dinner. We are however, doing a character dinner at Chef Mickeys because Mickey DOES interest me and Chip and Dale interests hubby2b!

Yes, of course. We have only eaten there once when Cinderella was there. That was quite a long time ago when she was there at the lunch hour.

When we were there in Dec. we went for lunch. Great atmosphere, fun time looking at everything and my DH loves the prime rib. Been at the castle three times, he has eaten the prime rib three times!!!!

No - poor service, rushed princesses....but mostly the food just wasn't very good at all!
