If Buzz Rules created a soccer podcast, would non soccer fan Disboarders give it a listen/chance?

Bad grandmother here. I meant to tell you this week and it just fluttered in and out of my head. I know son went done the rabbit hole (family trait) with the soccer vids and had a long convo with granddaughter about the sport. Err I kind of felt like my work was done as neither one of them asked me about soccer or any other sport again; I suspect they know me by now. Oops 😅

Thanks for your help since son was able to put the info to good use 👋🏾
I'm curious if you have watched any soccer this week? If not, that's fine. I'm just curious if the interest has continued or just been put on hold for the foreseeable future.

Son and DGD have returned to their respective digs so no need for watching anymore soccer on this end. Or listen to anyone tell me I need a tv set for that matter. Me and my iPad are doing fine solo 😉.

Thanks for the great info you passed on!

What questions as non soccer fans would you like to see discussed on my hypothetical potential podcast?

League relegation is literally a foreign concept to those of us from the US - and it's utterly fascinating to me. Do you think it would work with any sports here in the US?

It's coming to USL in the near future. I think minor league teams in baseball and hockey would be the start in trying it in the other mainstream sports. We have single A to A A A divisions, so it would be less risky for ownership.

What would a soccer version of Banana Ball look like? Would it work in the US?

Banana Ball

My ideas...
* Smaller field
* Less players
* 2 points for scoring outside the PA
* 3 points for scoring from midfield +
* "Live" subs?
* Kick ins instead of throw ins
* Opposing goalies can use their hands in the opponents PA?
* Walls?
* YC comes w/2 min "Sin Bin" and team has to play a man down

So very similar to what hockey/indoor soccer looks like.

I think it would work great for NCAA Football (maybe other sports too). Seed the top 12 teams into the "Champion" division, each team plays each other team once in that division, best record takes it, go back to the traditional divisions and bowl games for everything else. No playoffs - the season is the playoff. Bottom 4 teams go down, top 4 nationally ranked teams outside the group join the Champion division the next year. Repeat. Makes more sense than the playoff system they have now.

It's relevant.
Maybe it is. But just a video with no information about it? Yea, not watching.

"It's been tried before, here's how it worked... ", or, you know, YOUR thoughts.

How are you going to do a podcast with videos? That seems like at least half your posts, either videos or social media posts. Here's a hint... if someone is interested in social media posts, they're already following that entity!

Why don't you wait for my podcast to come out before judging me.

I don't mean to be rude, but since I have zero interest in soccer I can't think of any reason why I would even be tempted to tune in. That has nothing to do with the quality of the content, I'm just not interested in that topic implied.
I have no issue with that. I think it's rude for @sam_gordon to pre judge what I will do on my podcast.
