If booking Disney Hotel through 3rd party

If you are booking a Disney Hotel through a 3rd party, can you create a package but getting tickets and dining plan after the room is booked or does it all have to be booked through disney in order to get a package? Thanks in advance for any help!

Depends on the 3rd party. You have to book a package all together no matter who you go through to do the dining. You can add things later through Disney directly after booking a different part through someone else.

Travel agents can do that no problem. If you're talking about Expedia or something similar, you can't add the DDP after booking the room through them.
