If booking direct, you must pay to park, book through Priceline, it's free?

Booking directly on the Hilton app, September 15th-16th, Home 2 Suites, CoCoa Beach. Not parking a vehicle, $209.51, but parking a vehicle, $220.71.


But, when booking through Priceline, you get the room at the exact same price, and no mention what so ever about a parking fee. $209.51

I would read the fine print for the Priceline deal. I doubt “all fees” includes parking but just the standard fees everyone pays like resort fees.

Not every guest pays for parking, just the ones bringing a car. I would think that’s a special fee not included in the regular hotel rate, and then the hotel adds it as a room charge when you check in. Priceline doesn’t want to manage the add ons. They just give you the room.

It has been a long time since I have booked with Priceline but if I remember correctly they are not refundable.

If you are ok with that are you an HHonors member?
This was a king example but they have 2 queens for the same price.
It is free to join and their total $161.10 (The self parking is $10 a night so with tax that would be the same $11.20)
If you were parking for the one night the total would be $172.30 and you would earn some HHonor points.

It would be four adults. I will look more into this Hilton direct verses Priceline, I find it somewhat interesting. It was refundable with Priceline.

They had some refundable rates through Hilton but I was trying to compare like things thinking Priceline was not refundable.

Parking fees are usually added on when you check in because not everyone will have a car. I rarely have a car when staying at hotel.

Priceline cost doesn’t include parking unless specifically noted. I typically find the HHonors rates better than other third party booking sites. Since you only need one night and you have Choice rewards points, why not use those? Rooms start at 6000 points. If you find one for the amount of points you have, it would be a much better value than the $25 gift card you have chased.

I didn't have that many points and they were set to expire in December. But I too generally find booking directly is always cheaper but not in this case.

Yes. The 6000 starts at the lower cost hotels. Starts. You might need to be a bit further from your location and need the lower end of their model.
