Will the lines be wicked long? I don’t mind 50 minutes. But I don’t want 2 hour waits. We can go down and stay DVC and Uber over. So no out of pocket cost for the hotel.

If it wasn’t so painful. I’d sell a nights worth of dvc and stay royal pacific but dvc it is.

Want might you think the waits could be? Thanks.

Passholder appreciation isn’t going to greatly affect crowds at Universal.

August 17-18th is still summer season (crowded) but Southern schools will be back in session by then so the crowds will be lower than early August.

Get in the parks as early as you can, stay as late as possible. The headliner rides will probably have hour waits especially in the afternoon. Be ready to use single rider lines.

Do you have the app so you can check ride times. I would think the week before the ride times should be comparable so you can get a feel for how crowded it will be.

As pass holders we’ve found the Appreciation a very nice gesture but never planned a special trip around it.

I don't expect the lines will be longer, only 2 hr wait is sometimes Hagrid's. Generally that is the start of a slower time. I booked for that week because my preferred AP is blocked out of VB until Aug 14, still bummed that AP resort rates have not come out yet.

We have chosen. We are going the week before, they released flights $109 for that week. But those were not the ones I picked
:(

I did not go with the universal hotel. I really wanted to, but I went with not having my desire not to move rooms more.

DD found Mickeys not so scary Halloween tickets was an event. So that is a day. Typhoon lagoon is a day. DD BF has put in to come. They would join the room - late day 2. They will go to Hollywood Studio.

DH will come. He does not ride too many rides. He will come with DS and me to universal. It is $179 for the express pass for one day hmmmmm. I wouldn’t get it for him.
