If anyone is looking to upgrade/buy an iphone Best Buy has $50 off

I've been waiting to upgrade my phone to the iPhone but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I currently have an iTouch (64GB) that has about 150 songs, 16 movies and 30 apps on it which uses up about 28GB. I don't really want a 32GB iPhone (too much $$$ right now) so I'd probably get the 16GB.

As far as music and videos, how hard is it to move them on and off the device? I have 4 movies (the POTC movies) that I'd like on the phone, but the rest are my kids' movies that I'd only need on there when we travel. I also don't need all of my music on it all the time, usually only when I run. I would love to consolidate my stuff onto one device, but there's no way I can afford a 32 or 64GB iPhone.

Also, as far as I can tell, there are only 2 main differences between the iPhone 5 and the 4S...the connector is different and the iPhone 5 is 4G LTE compatible. Am I missing anything else? We've always had Android phones and used iPods but now that Sprint carries iPhones, I am suddenly intrigued.

How is the battery life? I work a 12 hour shift on the ambulance and I need to make sure that I don't have to charge my phone every 4 hours like I currently do with my Samsung Epic.

Thanks for all the info!

We have Sprint and my husband just upgraded to the iPhone 4S 16G, it's really easy to add and delete what you want on it from iTunes. He seems to have a much better better battery life than his EVO shift. I don't know that he charges it much and usually works a 10 to 12 hour shift, and he is on it a lot playing games.

I don't really know the differences, but I really want the iPhone 5 when it's time for me to upgrade in February. It seems to have better reception than the android phones.

Deal is still on.

I have the 4S and work 12 hour shifts, even with using the phone to text, use apps I still have plenty of battery life left at the end. If I surf the web a lot then I would notice the battery go down but I have never had to charge during my shift.

Sam's Club is having the same sale.

We bought 2 iPhone 4s as gifts for our sons. We were told that we had to activate them at time of purchase, so we just gave them early Christmas gifts. Also, they told us that the sale ends today 12-15-12.

We had planned to upgrade their old 3g's to the 4s at $100 each, so we saved 1/2 price. We are going to order Otterboxes off of Amazon for them and still save money from the original plan. WOOOHOOO!!

We did not get the service plan though-the Best Buy plan is $15.00 month/per phone. WOW! It is priced a little over the top!

THANK YOU OP

I did the same thing 3 weeks ago. I wanted to get my shopping done early and make sure I had the phones. I thought the 4S with 16 mb for $99 was a good deal so I purchased them and gave them to my girls early as they were upgrades for both of their phones.

I was excited when I got the email about the phone sale the other day! I went to Best Buy, got a price adjustment and got back $106!!!! woo-hoo!

Also Best Buy had emailed extra reward certificates on Friday with a minimum of $10 value. You bring it to the store and they scan it to tell you the amount. So I used it towards a movie for the kids also!

You can still buy AppleCare Plus from the Apple store. You have 30 days from the purchase date. appleCare plus is $99 and covers the phone for 2 years.
