If anyone has any info on the marco island, florida area please share!

I guy I use to work with owns and rents out a few houses on Marco Island. I have never been there he says it's great.

We stayed at The Charter Club Of Marco Island a couple of years ago and it was a fantastic vacation! The gulf is beautiful and the island is wonderful. Very clean and very rich looking properties. There are a couple of public beaches (we went to Tigertail Beach) and they were so nice to just walk on and relax. Marco Island is not a "busy" place and if you just want a pleasant relaxing holiday then this is a great place to go. There are a couple of shopping plazas and some nice restaurants to visit.

We took a dolphin cruise from a nearby mairna, which we all enjoyed too. They also took us out to a deserted island for a couple of hours of shelling. Really nice.

LisaRay, I am also going to copy this to the Orlando Hotel and Attractions board on this site, you may get some more answers there as well. There seems to be a lot of Floridians on that board who can answer all sorts of questions about various vacation spots in Florida.

Just found out we will be going to marco island for 4 days end of june 1st of july.
We've never been to this area before so if anyone has anything to share........ please do so!
