...for tickets I've already purchased, are they an airline that gives vouchers for the difference?

Haven't bought the tickets yet, but I'm thinking about taking the plunge. NWA has the exact times I'd love to have. Prices have been sky high (Easter dates), but they just came down to only "quite high." :D I'd go ahead if I knew that NWA gives vouchers for the difference if prices go down more.

Anyone know? TIA!

Yes, NWA will give you a refund voucher MINUS a $25 fee.

I just did that for my December trip.

Pinnie, may I ask how much your fare went down to make the $25 fee worth it?

Thanks for the reply! :D

I originally booked at $325 and it went down to $166. I really NEEDED the flight home at a specific time and I booked early. I figured it was a gamble, but in the long run it did pay off. Right now there are NO seats available on my return flight.

Wow, that's a great savings! Well worth the $25 fee of course.

Now I have to decide whether to go ahead and buy. The ticket I've got my eye on is $346 out of Flint (favorite airport). For many weeks now, tickets out of Flint have been coming up at $450+ for the dates I'm looking for. So $346 looks better (nonstop too), but I got the exact same itinerary for the same dates this past Easter for $236. So I'm having a hard time swallowing $346. Prices out of Detroit aren't any better, plus times aren't nearly as favorable.

Decisions, decisions...

Thanks again for your replies, Pinnie. Have a great trip in December!
