If a park closes at 7pm, what time is the latest ADR

If you are asking about a MNSSHP night, I believe you can make reservations right up until 7:00. If you don't have party tix (you will be asked at the restaurant), you will be asked to leave immediately following your meal and will be escorted to or told to go directly to the front of the park.

You won't be able to buy any keepsakes or do any shopping after 7:00 though so if you want anything that day, be sure to pick it up before you go to the restaurant for your reservation.

If I'm wrong, someone will definitely correct me LOL Hope this helps :goodvibes

to make a reservation for 7pm-- dont you need a party ticket?

(i didnt think the sit down places took reservations for that late in the night on party nights.

This was according to a dining CM I spoke with, but we all know how unreliable their info is  That's why I figured if what I wrote was wrong that someone else would step in and correct me.

I have read where people got reservations at 6:45, 6:50, 6:55 - to me that is right up until the time the party starts, basically. :confused3 I don't think it's right, but that's another discussion for another day in another thread. ;)

October 16th, when the MK is scheduled to close at 7:00 PM you can get an ADR for 6:55 at CRT or 6:50 at Tony's. That same night Epcot World Showcase closes at 9:00 PM and you can get an ADR for 8:55 in a couple of different places.

It depends on the restaurant. Some restaurants will have ADRs available right until 7pm (when they close) while others will only have their last ADRs for an hour before closing.

Aha - thank you for this information! (I knew if I was wrong, someone would correct me!) :thanks:

I wasn't aware different restaurants had different policies for party nights - makes it all very confusing :faint:

Could those restaurants that have last ADR an hour before closing be the ones that serve the snacks at the party? That would seem logical as they would need to get the diners out before the 7pm start and set up the party snacks.
A majority of the snack sties are at CS restaurants, but I believe that Crystal Palace was a snack site last year for at least one of the parties.

Thanks for the answers. I'm excited I had a good question!! I usually have easy ones for others, ;).

I'm thinking about doing a TS after a 6:30 Fantasmic, (which I think will be a no).

Also, on our MK day, the park closes at 8:00 but after the 7pm parade...wondering if we could get a 7:30 dinner ADR somewhere.

so for a party night a person can get a reservation for say 6:30 and get done in time to be walking up main street for the 1st parade?

You would have to make your meal last two hours and even then:

1. The crowds are extremely thick for the first parade.

and

2. Most reports indicate that if you don't have a ticket for the party, you will be escorted to the park's exit. No stopping along Main Street for pictures of the parade or anything else.

Bottom line, if you want to see the Halloween parade, buy a ticket. It's worth it.

Here is what I have discovered with my own unofficial scientific research over the last couple of weeks of checking out CRT during MNSSHP nights. Be aware that I am not a scientist...that is why it's unofficial. But even if I was a scientist you shouldn't take my word as official. Because then you would be taking my word as a scientist, and I don't even know what those people do.:joker:

I have been practicing ADRs around 7:15 CST every morning just to see what is out there when it comes times to go all Commando around 5am on Monday. The pattern I've come across the most is that the lastest reservation I can find is around 4:20 (:smokin:) on a MNSSHP night. For all I know there are people that are way more scientific than me.

Thanks for all the responses, but I'm definatley not going on a MNSSHP night...if that makes a difference.

When are you going to Disney? I don't think I've ever heard of MK closing at 7 p.m. other than for a party (either Halloween or Christmas). Even during the winter months, it stays open until 8 usually.
