If a cruise is no longer listed when you do a cruise search, is it because the cruise is sold out? Never noticed this before.

It can be that it's also close to its sale date, or a chartered cruise for a set group, or dry dock.

Depends what you are looking at and when.

Have you tried using different numbers in your group, if say it's not there on 4 but there on 2 it's filling up. If it's not there at all, is it near the cruise date? If it's just not in the normal pattern IE Eastern Western it could be dry dock.

Ok. I tried adjusting the number of people/stateroom. They do not have any rooms left to accommodate 4. Crazy that the ship would already be so full. It is a little 4 night Bahamian next March!

When in March? March is popular for spring break for a good portion of the country. We're in Texas and our spring break is March 13-17 and that happens to be when our cruise is scheduled also.

I guess the popularity is due to spring break then. I am surprised though that the cruise did not come up at all with four people, not to say sold out or anything. If I had not seen the cruise before, I probably would not have figured out its existence. :magnify:

It could also be a lifeboat thing. If there are not 4 seats left in the lifeboat that cabin is assigned to, it will not let you book 4 people in there, no matter what size the room. This can happen when the cabins around you are nearly full and there is a higher than usual percentage of people with children (like Spring Break, Easter, etc.).

A travel agency could have reserved a block of rooms. If they don't fill them, the rooms could go back into regular inventory. Keep checking every few days for availability.

I thought, they couldn't do this anymore, and wouldn't explain a whole ship going off sale, it did occur in the past. I booked one recommended by a TA here.
