This is my first trip to Disney !!!!! We will be going in Oct, I am soooooo excited..It is also my first time to fly.....My question is,,do my 10yr old daughter, and 10yo neice need any kind of ID for the airlines,,,,we are flying Delta. Also, will they need any kind of ID when we check into the AKL? My daughter looks like she's 10, unfortuntaly, my neice looks much older...I'm not even sure anyone will believe that she is 10 without an ID. I'm not sure if this is where I should be posting this-----this is the first thing I have ever posted. Is it October yet? are we there yet? No, that isnt the kids asking,,,,its ME....I cant wait. If anyone knows about the ID thing,,,,,let know,,,,I will appreciate it.

No, you won't need a picture I.D. until roughly age 16, but you will probably want a copy of a Birth Certificate. We just flew (in May) from FNT to PBI with 2 DS's. A photo I.D. was not neccessary, but the DS's had them, so they showed them. If they have a school I.D., it wouldn't hurt for them to carry it.

We always travel with a certified birth certificate for each of our kids(now 11 & 12 ). But, other than to board the Disney Wonder, we have never been asked for them.

A good ting to have is a letter from your brother or sister giving you permission to make medical decesions for your neice in their absence in case of any emergencies that might occour
