Ideas to get everyone excited!!!

We are planning our first "just the four of us" trip in May - my father (late 40s) is absolutely DREADING the thought - any ideas to get him excited? As for me, I just need ideas to fill up the time - 8 months seems like forever!

Me too! My parents (my mom is quite excited) and my DH & DD(15mos)will be going very soon. My dad talks about how it would be better if he just went to Vegas (I explained that it is his Granddaughter's first trip to Disney and he should be there to see the excitement in her eyes). My DH is only excited about finally going to an ESPN Zone. I tried getting them to watch the Disneyland Vacation Planning video (didn't work). I tried getting my dad to reminisce about when he took us as kids, didn't work...I need help too. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread.

What a cute idea. We leave shortly so it won't reach us in time. I would be willing to do the same for someone else too. But from Disneyland. I will be there 9/13 - 9/20. PM me if you want me to send someone a postcard (I know there's the Godmailer list too).
