Ideas on what to do with MVMCP tickets we can't use

My DH just lost his job this morning so most likely our trip for Christmas will be cancelled. I have $200 worth of MVMCP tickets though. Is there any way to sell those?? I think they are non-refundable right???

I'm so sorry for you and your family. I know exactly how you feel. This happened to us 2 years ago. We also had a trip to Disney planned. After much discussion, we did not cancel the trip and we had a great time. DH even did some phone interviews from there and once a day he'd take some time to check e-mails and make phone calls.

As for your MVMCP question. Do you have the tickets in hand? If so, I don't think you can get a refund on them. It wouldn't hurt to call and explain the situation though.

I have seen private transactions take place. Maybe someone else will know more about this.

Yes I have the tickets in hand. I just got them yesterday actually. I hate the thoughts of cancelling our trip but we may not have a choice (unless of course he finds a job really quick).

I believe I have read somewhere that you may be able to return them if and only if they are still on the paper that they came on. Call Disney and ask. You might be able to get a refund.

Yes the gracious CM that I talked to said that in this instance they will accept the tickets back for a full refund.
