Ideas of something to do for a Disney fan who just passed away?

I learned today that a friend of mine since the first grade passed away on Wednesday. She had just turned 34 and I learned from her husband today that she had breast cancer. I knew she had health issues but she didn't share that she had cancer.

She was a life-long fan of Disney and growing up, her family went to WDW EVERY vacation and that was long before DVC made it common to visit WDW regularly.

Her name on DisBoards is CindyIsMyFave. She introduced my sister and I to DIS and was our one friend we could really geek out about Disney with.

When I asked her husband if there were wishes for donations, he said they hadn't any. I feel compelled to do something.

Has anyone ideas or advice on what we could do to remember her and her love of Disney? I know our school groups went to Disney - I wonder if I could give to support kids going to Disney in her memory? I just am so surprised by the news and not sure where to go... She was a wonderful person who always believed in the magic of Mickey.

Take some time to grieve first. Wait awhile for your feelings to settle and something that is personal and meaningful to your relationship with her will come to you.

Sorry about your loss

So sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. Maybe a donation to GKTW in her honor would be nice? Praying for healing for you and her family.

I don't think the bricks are available for purchase anymore. The only thing you can buy like that is the "Leave a Legacy" inscription at Epcot.
