Ideas for two adults + two boys (12-13, one first-timer to Disney)

Hi,

We are DVC members staying at Saratoga Springs. For my son's 13th, he wanted to take his friend to Disney, who has never been to Orlando. We are there April 18-22, so we are thinking Hollywoode Studios on 19th, but not sure about which other park to take his friend to. Leaning to MK or AK, since I'm not sure what's going to be open at Epcot. Thoughts? Where would you take a Disney first-timer?

MK for sure- it’s iconic for a first timer!

I agree that 13 year old boys will probably like MK better than AK, especially if Everest is still closed. DHS and MK together have most of the rides. As much as I love FoP, the mountains of MK would be calling!

I would do 1 day at each park or get hoppers to arrange some way to experience all of them.

We decided on Magic Kingdom! He's so excited. I was up at the crack of dawn to get the restaurants we wanted and was unsuccessful so I'm checking every day now to try and get into Sci Fi Diner.
