I am a creative "clutz" and need some ideas for our magnetic door signs. I am computer literate, just not that creative. :rotfl:

Anyone willing to post pictures of their door signs to give me some ideas? :worship:

TIA.

I went to home depot and got some mickey head paint samples. Put them on my copier at work and increased the size to a little larger than my hand. I bought magnetic type sheet paper at Michaels. It was magnetic on one side and sticky on the other. I peeled back the sticky part and put the enlarged Mickey on it then cut off the excess part. Thats how I made mine.I put my Disboard nic on it and put that on our cabin door. I also made them for the 4 other doors that were in our party. It was really easy to do. I am not crafty at all. :earsboy:

Go to disneyland.com and signin...on the right sidebar is Tinkerbell's Pixie Prints which is a program that overlays Disney frames and "stickers" onto your pictures....very easy to print.

I bought magnetic tape at Walmart and just am sticking that on my pictures and doorsigns since I couldn't find the magnet paper.

This was our door last November. I assume DW will cook something similar up for 10/05 and 07/06.

I, too, scanned my HD Mickey paint chips with each person's name in Disney font on a different color onto magnetic paper and cut them out. I also bought Dollar Tree tropical banners and hung them with magnetic hangers. My next door will have more signs, one congratulating my cousin on graduating college.

I just took diffrent colored Home Depot paint chips, wrote what I wanted to say on them with a Sharpie, and had them lamenated. Then I stuck magnets on the back with super glue. Presto! Really helped DS8 find our room more easily! DH and DD13 thought I was goofy!

Ours had a large picture of the Disney Wonder at CC on it as well as the DCL logo. In Disney Font and Colors we wrote our family name, hometown, and dates of the cruise (actually, pretty similar to the Kirk family's, LOL). Someone down the hall from us had one too but we never ran into them (8/29/05 Wonder anyone, deck 7 Aft)? It was really nice and we made similar ones for some of our fellow Dis cruisers. Ours still hangs on our fridge. I want to make one now for our friends who are coming with us next time to help get them excited for their first cruise. :boat:

Stuart--LOVED the pictures of your door sign, if there's anything I love more than Disney and Mickey Mouse himself, it's Michigan football...I got goose bumps when I saw the block M's next to your name and had to look close--I thought maybe they were for Mickey Mouse, until I saw Ann Arbor!!! :) Anyway just had to say hi to a fellow Disney/Michigan fan!!!

Hey --

I made them for my family and four others. I bought the full page magnetic sheets from Staples.

I downloaded different Disney pictures and the Disney font. I did each family with a different theme. My family was the Cinderella theme, another was 101 Dalmations, one was Ariel and the last was Beauty and the Beast.

They came out really cute!! But, I must say it took a really long time to do them all.
