Ideas for kid's nametags?

Help! I need an idea for nametags for my DD(4) and DS (2) should (god forbid) they get seperated. I don't know if a bracelet or necklace would work with my DS...I think he'd take it off. Does anyone have any good ideas that worked for them?

For my 4-year-old I took two circular tags (about 1.5" diameter, metal-edged, with a hole already punched) out of my scrapbooking supplies, stuck them together and threaded it onto a string. I wrote her name on one side, phone on the other, then tied it to her sneaker snugly. She didn't want it there initially, but immediately forgot about it and it stayed on the whole trip.

Go to Wal-Mart and use the Pet tag machine and put on their names, your cell number and resort name or whatever you want. They have pretty big red hearts and probably something cool that boys would like.... you could make a really big deal about them picking it out and making it so that they would like to wear it. My DD loved hers and happily wore it everyday without one complaint.
