We leave in 11 days for 5 nights at the DLH.
With 2 young DDs who never eat all of the food on their plate and a DH who needs to eat dairy-free, I'm looking for your suggestions on food items to take into the park, and also that can be packed in our suitcases. I did tortillas with pb&j on our last trip (make several in the morning, roll up and put in a ziploc bag), but that gets to be a lot of pb&j. I will have a soft-sided, insulated bag and an icepack.
What ideas do you have for good snacks to carry into the parks to help save on $$$? We won't be going to a grocery store, and I'm not too interested in having a delivery since you must wait around for the delivery guy now. I plan to pack our food, which will then clear room for souvinEARs. I am willing pack cold thing in the suitcase with the icepack (is that allowed??).
Thanks!
