Ideas for Dinner

Well, after our last trip I've become a Dining Plan snob. However, when we go in June we won't have the DP for the first night because we are getting it thru DVC and we're staying at POP for our first night. So we'll be paying out of pocket for meals on the first day. I've scheduled the Alice and Friends breakfast at 1900 Park Fare for 10:45 am with the idea that it will be a big "brunch" that will hold us through most of the day (with snacks here and there I am sure).

Now, here is my question. What should do for dinner. I don't want to pay for a big TS dinner since I am used to DP prices (and we'll have already paid for one TS meal OOP that morning). However, I'm not sure what we should do for dinner. Our plan is to go to MK in the morning and then return to POP to swim in the afternoon.

Any ideas for evening meals? I thought about heading over to the Beach Club to try Beaches and Cream, but it seems rather far away.

We like Beaches and Cream a great deal. It isn't too far and I always enjoy driving at Disney. After dinner, you could walk around the Boardwalk.

Another choice would be Earl of Sandwich at DownTown Disney.
