We are visiting DLR at the beginning of June. DS has decided to skip his commencement ceremony in order to fit this trip into our crazy schedule. His thoughts are that a DL trip is waaay more fun than sitting in uncomfortable chairs while they read the names of the 500 kids in his graduating class! He also says there will be another one in 4 years when he graduates college, so we can go to that one.

I am hoping to do some "special" things for him to celebrate. We are planning to take him to a special dinner the night we arrive (mid-afternoon flight in) since he has always really enjoyed eating at really nice restaurants. He is an adventurous eater and his WDW favorites include Brown Derby, Boma, Yachtsman's Steakhouse and a couple of the Epcot restaurants. Probably Napa Rose or Steakhouse55 look like our best options.

Is there anything "Graduation" specific we should be looking for? Is there a button available (like the Birthday, 1st Visit, Anniversary, etc buttons they have at WDW)? Is there likely to be any "Graduation" specific merchandise? I know they have their Grad Nights so do they have merchandise generally available targeted at new grads? I'm thinking maybe a T-shirt with "Class of 2017". Or maybe a pin?

Any ideas are welcome! - Thanks :)

There is a button but they usually run out before the last grad night. They sell ears and I saw an antenna topper this year. You may want to stop at a party store and bring some decorations from home.
