Ideas for Care Package

Not quite budget related but I'd rather not spend TOO much so I guess it kind of is.

My co-worker recently (last week) took a leave of absence to be with her daughter and grandsons. Her 3 1/2 year old grandson has been diagnosed with leukemia. She has gone to take care of her other daughter's son who is just a baby (maybe 6 months?) and to be supportive for her daughter and 3 1/2 year old grandson. Word is he's going to be just fine in the end but it's scary regardless- he's undergoing extensive treatments.

Any ideas of things I could put together for my co-worker? She's taking time off of work which means no pay, maybe a Target gift card? I'd like to add a few things with it. Also, any ideas what we can do for the little guy? I'm thinking we (myself and co-workers) could gather at least a hundred dollars together.

What do you all think would be nice?

I had triplets in the NICU 12 years ago and then various other issues with kids being in hospital.
Most helpful to me was gas cards for the drive back and forth, food certificates, and maybe for the baby a small age appropriate toy, diapers, and wipes.
Since mom will be with the older child it would help grandma to have some extra diapers on hand.

Thank you! My co-workers and I decided on a Leapster Leap pad and I bought a coloring book, crayons and Chutes and Ladders to go along with it for the little guy that's in the hospital. I just bought my co-worker a $50 gift card to Target and $25 to Chipotle (she eats there frequently at work so I know she enjoys it!). My co-workers have been very generous with their donations so it's a team effort- we are really all like family!

Those are great gift ideas. Don't forget to send batteries for the Leapster if it did not come with them.
