We are going to Disney with a Dining Plan and are staying at the Animal Kingdom. I have planned my Dinners with Table Service Meals and am struggling to find restruants that do a decent breakfast.

Any recommendations, if necessary I will swap my evening TS to CS. I will be visiting the parks in the following order.

Magic Kingdom
Epcot
Typhoon Lagoon
Animal Kingdom
MGM Studios
Blizzard Beach
Free Day

I will be there 25th May to 1st June with 2 adults and 3 children

Welcome to the Dis Board. :wave2:

Mara has a good selection of food. Check out the menus at www.allearsnet.com. You will find menus for every restaurant there. Have a good trip.

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary:thumbsup2 Also the Commissary at MGM has a really good counter service breakfast.

17 Days, 4 hours, and 27 minutes til we're back at Fort Wilderness and Star Wars Weekend! :woohoo:

Hi, and welcome!

Our family has enjoyed Donald's Breakfastasaurus in AK several times (buffet). The food is good and the characters are Donald, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto.

At MGM, Starring Rolls (Counter) has yummy pastry if you are interested in a continental-style breakfast. Outdoor seating with umbrella-covered tables.

Crystal Palace in MK does a good job with Pooh and Friends character breakfast (buffet). The Victorian glass conservatory-styled environment is just beautiful!

The Fountainview Bakery in EPCOT (counter) is also quite good for a bakery-type breakfast.

(sorry--not so many experiences to speak of--our family usually eats breakfast of cold cereal in our room so we can get right to touring once we hit the parks!!)

I reserved the DDP for our upcoming trip in November. My strategy is to continue with the in-room breakfast and to use our credits for CS lunches and TS dinners, with snacks when needed! The way I figure it, we will get "more bang for the buck" that way, since lunches are typically more expensive than breakfasts; dinners more expensive than lunches!

Happy Planning!! ;)

We really enjoyed Cape May at the Beach Club (next to Epcot) for Breakfast. That is a Character B-fast with Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale.

We just did Crystal Palace last week with Pooh and friends. It was great. Large selection of food on buffet, and very good, I highly reccomend the puffed french toast. Very clean, even the restrooms. Characters were great. Very efficient at handling my daughters food allergies as well.

We really enjoyed the Crystal Palace at MK. The buffet had a great selection and I really liked the made to order omelettes.

We really loved 1900 Park Fare at the GF- breakfast with Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger. The food was excellent and the character interaction was, too. We also like CP at MK for breakfast and dinner. Our kids are 2 and 4 so they were really into the Pooh characters. Enjoy your trip!

Tusker House at AK does a great CS breakfast. I second the suggestion for going over to www.allearsnet.com and look at all the menus for who does breakfasts. That's how I discover the breakfast at Tusker House. Knew we were hitting AK early to ride EE and would need to eat after riding, but didn't want to do the character meal.

UMMMMMMMM. The Boma is right in your hotel and just about the best breakfast on site. We also often got the big breakfast meal at Mara and split it between the 4 of us (DH, DS, DD)

I have booked my meals today and lady at Disney advised me not to book Breakfast as it makes it more flexible when getting ready. I agree but will definately try some of these options.
