Good evening everyone! I was thinking about my birthday today (no matter that it's in November) and I decided that I wanted to do something big this year. The last 2 years have been dinner and beers with friends, but I am buying a house in 2 weeks and I want to have a par-tay!

I decided that I want a Neverland themed party because Peter Pan is one of my favorites (and sounds like more fun that a Sleeping Beauty party...my #1).

My DBF looked a little skeptical when I asked him to plan it...he would have to wear tights after all! So I told him to just not worry about it for now...I knew the good people of the DIS would have some ideas!

So I've been trying to think of ways to incorporate elements from the movie into an adult friendly party. Party websites have great ideas for kids (craft stations and whatnot) but my friends will NOT be impressed with most of these ideas. Of course, pin the tail on the lost boy could be fun if you have to take a shot first....hmmm.

So if you have any ideas, please share...my 24th is going to be a blowout!

I posted this on a different thread but it was getting no love so I thought I should try out the more creative types! Thanks for the help:thumbsup2

Deffenitely watch the movie, "Neverland" or "Peter Pan". (You know; the adult ones) ;)

I found this online was for a kid but I'm sure you can create something along these lines for an invitation..

"The Fairies of Neverland invite the Lost Boys, Pirates, Indians and their other Fairy friends to ________24th Birthday party. Think happy thoughts and fly second star to the right and straight on til morning (address) Time & Date If you believe in Fairies say I do, I do and rsvp to....Dress in your best Neverland attire."

~Have everyone show up wearing either nighties, pajamas, or dressed as one of the Lost Boys

~Some "activities" you can do is a Treasure Hunt. You could make up several clues that leads you to an ice chest of "beverages" Everyone loves a good old fashioned Treasure hunt.

~ your decorations could be so many things from the movie *streets of London Backdrops. You also have to remember you can have pirates & Indians..

I will give this more thought ;)
