My parents were supposed to join us on our trip next month. My mom has ended up being really sick and not allowed to travel so they had to cancel. I know they are both extremely disappointed to miss out on this.

The kids have all asked to find something special for Grandma and Grandpa while we are there so they won't feel so bad. I like the idea, but I know the trinket or touristy things like mugs won't really work. My daughter suggested a stuffed Mickey/Minnie and a note saying we brought Disney home for you.

What are some other ideas or things I can look for? I don't have a huge budget, maybe $50 total to spend.

Thanks

A really nice picture frame and the best family photo of the trip to put inside it, or a photo book and then fill it with pictures of the trip. I would add a sweet treat from the world too, maybe rice krispy mickey ears.

I would say maybe a special Christmas ornament. We always get one for us and one for my parents each year (even though they do not go any more). Maybe a WDW picture frame with a family picture in front of the castle or somewhere else.

They also sell some kitchen stuff that they may like and use to decorate the house.

I agree, a picture of your family. You can get a free one with your Disney Visa.

Buy a nice frame to put it in.

Buy their favorite treats to bring home.

Take lots of pictures and have the kids give the grandparents a picture show.
