Ideas for a Disney Themed Baby Nursery

Hello again everyone.

I wasn't able to find any threads in the Home Interior area, so I though I would ask everyone here.

We are blessed to be welcoming out first child at the end of April 2014 and we want to have a Disney theme nursery. I was wondering if anyone has done this with their nurseries? The theme I am going for is "When You Wish Upon A Star". I have seen all sorts of Disney Princess, and Mickey Mouse baby themed things. But I am just not finding the right vibe. Any other suggestions of things I could make, do, or look for? I am open to all suggestions and ideas. Thanks so much to whoever contributes.

Just some other info. At the moment we do not know what we are having, boy or girl. But we will be finding out hopefully soon.

I love that idea! I'm glad you're not going for a Mickey Mouse or Princess theme. What if you tried a twilight-esque purple with some silver swirls? Maybe some quotes around the room (stenciled probably) from Disney movies that talk about wishes and coming true? Whenever I think of wishes, that is what comes to MY head.

I'm going to make my first child's nursery Alice in Wonderland theme myself, just have to get pregnant first lol.

That nursery theme sounds fantastic!

I would suggest trying pinterest.com and plug in some keywords and see what comes up. I'm sure something will pop up for sure!!!

I think definitely a vinyl wall hanging would be amazing with "When you wish upon a star" over the crib.
