I'm considering doing more AK and less HS this upcoming trip, and I thought Wilderness Explorers might be perfect for my kids.

Ages will be 7, 4 and 2 (obviously the 2 year old will just go along for the ride.)

Great ages. Melody has done it at both 6 and 7 and loved it. She could have done it at 4 too but they didn't have it then, it was a different thing and not as fun.

My son was 4.5 and needed some help, obviously, but really, really liked it. Several months later, he still looks through his book on occasion.

Yes, great ages! My DS7 started his Wilderness Explorers book this past February and begged to do it again when we went in April. He absolutely loves having hands-on experiences and loves animals so this was a real draw for him to go back to the park and really learn a lot more about the animals, how the park operates, different cultures, etc. He still has two stickers to go, so we will complete the book when we go back in a few weeks. It's a great program. I wish they would do something similar in EP. The concept would really work there as well.

My husband and I enjoyed it quite a bit too (we're in our 30's and no kids) so I say it's fun for all ages! Caw caw, roooar!

My kids loved it last time we went in 2014, they were (17, 16, 14, 13, and 11). I think it's fun for most ages.

Yep! Even we seniors enjoy it.

I agree. The CMs at the WE stations are really good and have a lot of neat information to share. I've even sent a couple of emails to Guest Relations to point out some of the CMs who were fantastic doing the WE stations.

My DD (now 10) finally got all badges after 3 separate trips. One was tricky to get because they changed one station on the Gorilla trail and she was still using her old book that was being held together by a rubber band!

My daughter was 4 and loved it. She didn't understand everything and required a bit of help in finding the stations. She loved collecting the badges and talking to the counselors. The ideal age might be 6+, but I think it is enjoyable even for the younger set.
