id tags for kids

where is the best place to get id tags for children preferrably with photo id (incase i lose a child)

i've just came across paper bands but its not what i'm looking for

Hiya!

Although I did not acutally get round to using ID Tags in the end for my previous trips, we did look at http://www.identifyme.co.uk/ , this website sells everything from wristbands to id badges, cards, tapes, medical badges etc etc. Hope you find what your looking for and goodluck.

Never actually got round to id bands but have taken on board the advice to photograph your child, daily
That way you can show an up to date photo - with clothing etc - to someone in the, unlikely, event that your child gets lost

DD (6 at the time) 'misplaced' herself at Butlins, last year. Basically she walked away whilst we stood still................... - she took herself into the nearest shop, said she's lost her parents, and ended up having a great time in the nursery......!
Luckily she was wearing a very distinctive 'Minnie' dress and was identified before I'd even opened my mouth
Obviously didn't stop me counting my blessings when she was found

I, now, tend to write her details in a shoe or somewhere similar.
She thought she knew where she was staying, when she got lost, but had no idea really...............
