We have just received our attraction tickets: 14 day hopper, Medieval nights, Kennedy, and Discovery cove (enough to keep us happy for 2 weeks!). Reading through the info they sent with the tickets they say we should have some photo ID with us when we go to the parks. Would they accept a photocopy of our passport do you think? I don't fancy taking the real thing round with us.

Also, there is a strip overleaf where we should sign, even on the child ticket....silly question, but they don't expect our 6 year old to sign do they!?

Thanks...

use driving licence for id.In the states its a legal requirement to carry photo id at all times, not like here iin the uk. as for the childs tickett you should be ok tosigh it for them

Gosh, you must be a mind reader , i was about to ask the same sort of question!! I have got the old fashioned drivers license (without photo on it) would that still be ok to use? Also if there are 3 of you in the group do you have to show ID for everyone or just the eldest one (ME!!!)

We were not asked for any photo ID in the main parks at all and were only asked for ID once at a Subway, Busch Gardens gift shop and a supermarket when we were cashing a travellor's cheque. We carried our passports around each time we went to a park for the first time then stopped and left them in the safe. We made a mental note to exchange our old style driving licences for the new ones for this year's holiday and we will be carrying this ID with us at all times.

think you have to provide photo id for people over 18 not too sure that it may be 16 you could check onthe us sites. The yanks think its strange we dont cary id i was asked what if i was stoped in the uk by police ,told them its up to the police to prove who you are ,its the outher way round in the states

At the Disney parks I just show my bus pass which is the only photo ID I carry. I can't use finger recognition at the gates so they always ask for photo ID - Never had a problem! (I have old style drivers licence without photo - my passport stays in my room safe )
