I read that we can get free ice water at QS locations. I'd like to bring an iced tea or lemonade concentrate to add to the water when we're having meals so I don't have to buy drinks for five people (we're on a budget). So far all the drink mix concentrates and powders I've seen have aspartame or sucralose in them. Does anyone know of any mixes that do not have artificial sweeteners?

If you want it sweet, then I think all of them are artificial. If you just want to flavor the water, you could use something like these:

Lipton powdered iced tea mixes: https://www.lipton.com/us/en/our-teas/iced-tea/powdered-mixes.html

We use the lemon one, it uses cane sugar. There are other flavors.

True lemon drink packets use cane sugar and stevia: http://www.truelemonstore.com/ They also have just lemon, orange, or lime.

Another option is cold brew tea bags, some of which come in different flavors.

Our solution: get refillable mugs at the resort and use them at the resort. At the parks, we just drink ice water.

I can't seem the find the Lipton ones in a travel packets.

Does stevia leave an aftertaste? I dislike diet drinks because I can't stand the aftertaste. I don't think I've ever had anything with stevia.

As far as I know the Lipton doesnt come in travel packets, You would need to make your own. Easy enough to do with a measuring spoon and snack size Ziploc-type bags.

For some people stevia has a distinct and/or aftertaste. You would have to try it to see.

I can't stand stevia.

Clif electrolyte powder uses cane sugar. I don't think there are individual packets but you can set it up into your own single servings ahead of time.

It's not as nasty as aspartame or saccarine or sucralose (at least to me) but I find stevia has a kind of "licoricey" note. Personally, I avoid it.

You could try unsweetened Kool Aid. I'll drink it plain, but a couple of sugar packets would improve it for most people. Or you could carry a small soft-side cooler with drinks. As long as you are ordering meals, I doubt the cast members would say anything.

For us, if we're paying out of pocket and don't want to spring for multiple drinks, we usually order a single large one and ask for a couple of extra cups.

Thanks for the thread. I drink a lot of water and cut out diet pop over a year ago. I still have lots of the water flavourings sitting in my cupboard from over a year ago. I use to use them at WDW since the water tastes quite bad. Wasn't sure what to do this trip but now I have a few ideas.

We bought little Gatorade pouches to mix into our water. It's going to be so hot while we're there and I'm concerned my kids won't drink enough water, thought it was a good mix in since we couldn't find anything else that wasn't full of chemical tasting sweeteners. If you decide to go that route, Walmart had them the cheapest.
