Ice machines?

DO the DVC properties all provide ice machines on each floor like the regular resorts do?

I know they do at the resorts that are like hotels (indoor hallways).

At OKW, they are at the bus stops.

In a 1BR or above you probably won't need the ice machine as there are automatic ice makers in the refrigerators. In a studio the ice making is limited. I think there are ice machines on the ground floors of the SSR buildings with the soda machines but don't remember about the upper floors.

At OKW, there are ice machines at each of the bus stops. As already noted, the 1BR and larger units have a built-in ice maker in the refrigerator.

I know at SSR grandstand area we were on the 2nd fl and I looked everywhere on that fl, the only one I found was on the 1st fl

I have never seen a ice maker other than a ice cube tray. What resorts have a ice maker in the room?

I know OKW does. BWV does not, there are ice machine rooms in each wing. They do have a plastic tray in the freezer to make your own ice in both studios & 1 bedrooms.

I know that SSR and BCV doesn't.

I stand corrected - While we have stayed at all the DVC except the AKV the at ones OKW are where we have been in 2 BR and above most times and those rooms had the ice makers. Did not pay attention while at the BCV or WLV as no one in those groups did much drinking of beverages that required ice. SSR and BWV we only had studios. Am quilty of thinking they would use the same equipment at all the DVC resorts but should have known better.
