Ice cream at the shop on the Fantasy

Does anyone know what brand of ice cream they use? At Disneyland parks, it is all Dreyer's.

We sailed on the Fantasy a few weeks ago and had ice cream in Sweet On You. They do serve both regular ice cream and gelato. I don't know what brand they serve, but we had mint chocolate chip and it was very tasty.

I don't think it's Dreyers. It definitely tastes higher quality than that. They may even make it themselves. It's not hard if you have the commercial machine.

I am pretty sure the mint-chocolate chip in Cabanas (Magic/Wonder) is Dreyers, its so delicious....... I can't wait to have it again.

I just got off the Dream Friday and the pastry chef doing the "Anyone Can Cook" talked about his team making the gelato for Vanellope's. He didn't talk about the ice cream, which is also in the Sweets and Treats Shop.

If this is true, I'm definitely getting some. I wasn't going to bother - I figured I'd stick with the free stuff but if they're making it themselves, I will be buying. Especially the gelato.

True! I love Gelato. We will skip the outside soft serve then since we have an alternative this time around.

A small, one scoop in a cup, was $3.95. And, the scoop was full size, (not the small ball scoop you get at BR). Enough for 2 to share.

We visited Vanellope's on the Dream a few years back. A "small" gelato was not "small" by any means! There was no way I could finish all of that....
