If you go on HMH and IASWH first thing in the morning, you will jump right on. We went on one of the busiest days when they had signs up warning the parks were getting full, but we still had great mornings. The holiday rides were the reason we went at that time so went on the them several times in the morning. Later on they were VERY long. FPs went fast for HMH so grab some of those if you want to do it later in the day too.
Gotta rethink...I have 3 mornings. We're planning Fantasyland on Sat MM then MTMM. The next day probably Nemo 1st thing then over to DCA when it opens. Not sure what we'll hit 1st there, but we really want to catch some of the shows that unfortunately only show in the middle of the day aka "nap time". Maybe on the third day(and final day) we'll try to hit IASW 1st. I'm not sure if I'll hold out that long though...maybe we'll be able to do it sooner with not to long of a wait. Any ideas for me...what are your thoughts on Nemo 1st? My kiddos are young, 2,5,and 5, so we won't be riding alot of the big thrill rides (unfortunately most of the FP rides).

In our experience, we've found that during the day it's a Small World Holiday has pretty manageable lines during the day, but the line is considerably longer in the evening. If you can, it's best to go on the attraction during the day, but make sure to visit at night to see the light show they have there. It's really good.
I thought they used to be where the overflow queue is now, but they might have been by the gift shop. I have a map from Christmas 2000 (like FPs first year) and it lists IASWH as having FP. Not quite sure when they discontinued it. I'm sure it wasn't around for long. Here's a link I found: http://www.intercotwest.com/resortguide/fastpassSmallWorld.asp

They were set up over by the gift shop, and were there for a few years. They were set up at the same time that the ones for Haunted Mansion Holiday were set up. The lines at night were outrageous - easily 2 hours long, so it was nice having a Fastpass.
As for doing Nemo first thing, that's what we did when we went with our little ones. I was with my entire family (15 of us) so 3 of us took everyone's tickets as they came through the turnstiles and walked "with purpose" to space mtn. while the rest of the group booked it to Nemo. We were on the second sub (they actually had to wait for us FP runners). We did the Matterhorn second, then did IASMH all before toontown opened. Then we did TT (Mickey's house first).
MM we did fantasyland in about 30 minutes (Peter Pan then dumbo, then everything else)
My family was SHOCKED how long the lines got right after we got off the rides. We didn't end up spending more than 15 minutes in line for anything the whole time we were there because we planned it right.
Currently, IASW does not have fast passes. It's lines seem to move pretty quickly too. We like to hit his ride when we've reached our, its too hot out here point. This is an inside ride with A/C and you are freezing by the time you get to the exit.
They used to have the IASWH FPs a few years ago, but in their infinite wisdom, they decided to remove them. Now the lines at night go all the way over to the stage area thing in front of the Matterhorn. It loops around and around and around in front of IASWH and then loops around and around and around on that stage area thing. We waited in at least a one hour long line last January which is ridiculous for that ride. We only rode it twice because I refused to stand in that long of a line again. The day time is manageable and even easy, but when it's busy, I'd rather ride the other rides and get all the FPs lined up for evening rides. I wish they still had IASWH FPs.
Thanks for all the info!! Keep it comin!! I think we'll try to hit IASW before lunch and if it's too long then wait for morning. We'll probably just admire from the outside at night time!!
Another question...I remember reading that some rides are closed during the parade and/or fantasmic. Does anybody know what these are?
