Ian Stuart Dresses

After picking my dream dress an Ian Stuart design, i was just curious to see if anyone else has brought an Ian Stuart dress & if so which one ??

We loved Ian Stuart's dresses, when we were looking for Amy's dress.

They are sooooooooo feminine and the colours are fantastic.

I've seen him many times on different TV programs and he's a really nice guy.

He has now won Bridal designer of the year.....for the last 4 years on the trot. That takes some doing.

Sadly, Amy couldn't get one because they only started from a size eight and it was way too big.

In the end she went for a dress from Demetrios's Ilissa collection as they started at a size 2....even thats too big on the bust and she's got to have it altered.

Which one did you get ? I would love to see it.

Its the Mokalita dress, in all honesty the picture does nt do the dress enough justice its stunning .

I tried a few of his dresses on, all were really beautiful but i literally got butterflies when i put this one on. I cant move in it very well though as the skirt to it has so much fabric & layers to it but i dont care. It looked so lovely on that even if i walk 5 steps in a minute i ll be thrilled. It was the heaviest out of all the dresses i tried on of his, they all though made be feel like a princess.

The skirt is so big though with so much fabric that the boutique owner said it maybe best if i wear a hoopskirt underneath otherwise my legs may get a tad tangled up in the fabric. Plus she said it would make the skirt puff out even more which is always a good thing

When i told the owner of the boutique where i was getting married she said Ian Stuarts dresses are absolutely fitting then as they have a fairytale look to them.

Im chuffed as i never thought id get an Ian Stuart dress mainly due to them being pretty pricey, even better still i get a Chopard ring as my wedding band so im a very happy & lucky girl

I saw an Ian Stuart Dress years ago, and I wanted it so bad but it got discontinued....

Your dress is absolutely stunning. You definitely have great taste.

I would go with a hooped pettycoat as well..... It will keep it away from your legs. That's what Amy's doing. Her dress has 9 layers of tulle and the pettycoat has 8 and when we measured it, it was about 9 feet in diameter.
