I've always wanted to go to this convention because I LOVE theme park stuff but I'm a bit apprehensive to go because I'm not involved in the industry at all except as a consumer. If you have gone before, what do you think?

How tough could it be to start a blog and declare yourself, media, I've seen some stuff where writers plainly need to sound out quite a bit so the bar isn't too high. If you can afford to go, start a blog or vlog & go for it!

I've been a few times and it is very interesting and fun. New ride concepts, all sorts of theme park innoventions. I did have credentials to attend, you could not get in without them.

You can buy passes to attend. My husband’s been cause he’s a member, but he said anyone can get tickets to the convention floor.

Haha I guess I could try that but I am not a good writer and not very creative. Plus I work a lot. Wish I started my career younger in the theme park industry!

Lucky! Was that "innoventions" a Freudian slip? lol! I wish I had the chance to experience Innoventions when it was around. Last time I went, it was still there but our group decided to skip as from our understanding, it was just a shell of what it used to be.

Ok sweet, that's all I want to do is just check out all the new tech and stuff. TY!

Industry trade shows are generally for those in that type of business for the purpose of displaying new items and make connections with potential clients. Found this article about last year's event that mentions who typically is expected to attend. I agree with others these types of events are not intended for the general public.
