I65 South of Louisville

Don't know if this is the right place for this but we are leaving on Friday and will be going through Louisville on I65 on Saturday and I have heard there is construction around Elizabethtown. Does anybody know how bad it is?

Any input would be appreciated.

I don't think you should have too many problems. It doesn't seem like it's really effecting the main traffic, just the off ramps and I264 (which you won't touch).

Traffic on South 65 on Saturday's usually isn't too bad anyway, so I think you will be OK! Have fun, we drive down on the 1st!

They won't be to the actual construction for a while. They've got the barrels on the side of the road. Eventually the entire length will be 6 lanes. Be careful between mm 65 and 10. This is the deadliest section of interstate in the nation and no one can figure out why. Wave as you pass mm 23, I live about 100 yards off I-65 there.
