I'm planning our second trip to Disneyland for April. When we were there last May The Plaza was closed due to refurb. We tried Goofy's Kitchen and Surf's Up. I want to plan another character breakfast for this trip. Do you guys recommend Minnie's? It's just two adults going. I've read mixed reviews. Thanks!

I love the Minnie's Breakfast..We've done storytellers, Goofy Kitchen (dinner) and I think you get better character interaction at Minnie's when we were there we saw Rafki, Max, The White Rabbit, Fairy Godmother, Minnie (of course) Eyore,Pooh,Tigger, Capt. Hook. and a few others I can't remember exactly.

We also love Minnie's! Captain Hook is a blast to interact with and watch!

Have a magical time!

We had a great time when we went in early December, and when we went the same time last year. Some of the characters were not consistent in how they went around the dining areas, but we nicely asked and got the chance to see them. We saw either 9 or 10 characters each time. This is a substantial difference now from Goofy's Kitchen where you see the same 5 characters no matter when you go.

We just ate at Minnie's for breakfast on Monday, 12/29. We had early reservations at 7:30 which I was very happy to have since our party of six was seated inside on a very chilly morning. The food was good and quite plentiful. (I am gluten free and they sent the chef out to check in with me and then prepared a special plate of GF waffles.)

We had ample time with the characters since we were there early and they even circled back around to play with our party later in the breakfast.

The characters we saw were: The Fairy Godmother, Captain Hook, Max, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Minnie, Rafiki, Chip & Dale, and a very quick fly by of Peter Pan.

We all (8.5yrs to 70yrs) enjoyed it immensely!

We love Minnie's!! We saw 9 characters last time we were there! I also think the food is pretty tasty!!

I haven't been since 2012, but I loved it then. Saw most of the same characters listed by pps. It's a great deal considering it's the least expensive character breakfast, and has the most characters. I also have really enjoyed their food. It's a must do for me and I will be back in a week to eat there again. Can't wait!

The food is meh, but the character interaction is great and plentiful. I'll take less than average food for the great interaction. Both times we've gone it's just been me and DD since DH isn't a big breakfast guy, and she loves the Mickey waffles and scrambled eggs.

Wonderful. Our kids love the waffles, etc... I really like the omelets from the Chef and he is really nice.

Characters are great. Make sure you allow enough time to see the characters. (Don't try to be in and out under an hour...)

We love Minnie's! We've now been to all the character meals, and I think Minnie's is my favorite...character-wise. Food wise, probably Storytellers. But they are all buffets. Dh prefers Goofy's (but we haven't been since they decreased the characters there).

On our last trip in December, we saw: Minnie, Rafiki, Perla & Suzy (mice from Cinderella), Max, Daisy, Pluto, Tigger, Eeyore, Captain Hook, and Chip & Dale. We've seen other characters in the past, including: Pooh & Fairy Godmother.

Does anyone have experience with eating outside in the winter months? We are thinking about doing this breakfast in a couple weeks and I am worried about getting put outside and ending up freezing and eating cold food. Do they serve hot chocolate? We have 6 of us going. Do they let you wait for an inside spot? How long on average do people spend here to be able to see everyone?

We sat outside on the porch in December. But it was a lovely day and quite comfortable. We had an ADR the following day but decided to switch and do it a day early. They told us we could only sit inside if we had a reservation, so maybe having an ADR helps? Didn't matter on that day as the weather was nice.

It did take close to 90 minutes to see everyone, but that was 9 characters so we were very happy.

I think if you're willing to wait and you have an ADR you won't have trouble being seated indoors.

Thank you mom2rtk! Is it better to go earlier or later in the morning for this to get good character interaction? I thought I had read something that the characters left before the breakfast officially ended but can't remember for sure. This is likely a one time only deal and I would really like to maximize the experience if possible.

I've heard that about eating late so would probably try for sooner rather than later. We checked in at 10 this time and stayed until 11:30. Characters were disappearing in the last half hour or so but of course was very happy with the 9 we saw.

Toward the end, the folks out on the porch with us were all going into the dining room to catch Captain Hook. We wanted to meet him but didn't want to stalk him inside since that's not really how things are supposed to be handled. So I asked our server. She found out he was about to leave, but told us she asked his handler and said we could come in for a quick photo.

We just had breakfast here on NYE and had a great experience. The make to order omelets were amazing and the characters were plentiful. We were just 2 adults and had a fantastic time.
