Don't worry you don't have to give me your age. :teeth:

Do you find that as you get older you don't enjoy the rides as much?
See last year my sister really wanted to do the tea cups, which we did and I helped her spin the cup like crazy, but after a while she noticed my color and said ok thats enough, and it took me awhile to come around. (She had to keep an eye on me to make sure I wouldn't fall while walking or just faint).
Also on Mission Space I really wanted to close my eyes but remembered that they say to keep your eyes open and look straight ahead. (Glad that you get off at Mars instead of bringing you back lol ).
I don't know, maybe its because even as a kid I never really enjoyed the rides.

I'm 39 (YIKES!:earseek: I'll be 40 when I am there next!!!!), and I enjoy the rides as much now as I did when I was 16!! :jumping1:

Our last trip in August, I thought I was gonna loose it right then and there on the Tea Cups!LOL DD and I had to leave the park 'cause it was affecting me that badly!

I chalked it up to getting older, but then again I never really did like those kind of rides, just went on them for DD's sake!LOL

It's hard to say if it's that or not. I'll let you know after our Easter Trip! 'Cause I know DD will definately want to do the Tea Cups! She thinks it's funny when I turn all different shades!LOL

I am 35, but can remember when I was younger riding the rides that they had to clean out with water hoses!

Now, I get queasy on the Ferris Wheel. :o

Oh well! :p

I've noticed in the past few years that certain rides have a worse affect on me than they used to. I LOVE roller coasters and used to be able to ride anything repeatedly.
Now there are some that I just cannot ride anymore because I literally have to sit down and collect myself for a good 10-15 minutes afterward.

I can no longer ride KUMBA at Busch Gardens. Also, last year we went to Islands of Adventure with some friends. We stayed at one of the resorts there so we had front of the line entrance to all rides. They all rode Hulk 4 times in a row. I could only ride once!

Of course, now that I'm pregnant, I can't ride at all. To be honest, I'm somewhat relieved!!!:p

Yep! They affect me differently. Especially since I've had kids. Makes no sense..........:earseek: :hyper:

I feel the same. I think it is because I get nervous thinking, if something happens to me, what's going to happen to Pete? :( I know I drive slower and take less risks because of this. :teeth:

I'm 35 and DD 13 has to keep up with me at the parks. I have to beg everyone to go on RnR and ToT. I've always loved the rides.:D

I am 39 and still love the thrill rides as much as ever. However, I cannot ride anything that spins around like the teacups. Spinning rides have made me sick since I was a child though.

I'm 35 and I've noticed that I'm having trouble with newer rollercoasters. Especially, the kind of stuff they're putting in at Six Flags Magic Mountain lately. I used to be able to ride anything, anywhere without any problem. Last year, DejaVu at Magic Mtn made me sick to my stomach - the first time in my life that's ever happened because of a ride (fortunately, it didn't happen ON the ride!). The newer, extreme coasters give me headaches like you wouldn't believe. They're really tough on me and that's a total bummer... Man, I hate getting older... :(

I ride more rides now than I did when I was younger. I've never been able to handle the twirly circle rides, not even the carousol. I can't wait to see how I do on Mission Space. :)

I'm 38 and I've always loved rides especially rollercoasters. But I have noticed in the last couple of years that spinning rides make me sick/dizzy!

I do not like the Tea cups or even the merry go round! I'm fine on rollercoasters still though.

I also felt ill on Mission Space and I followed all the recommendations.

I don't like this getting old stuff.

The older I get, the more I want to ride the "wild" rides. I used to be afraid of Roller Coasters, but now, I love them!
We went to Cedar Point last summer and I rode the new TOP THRILL DRAGSTER which is 420 feet high and goes up to 120 mph. Of course, we rode Millenium Force (my personal favorite) too.

I'm not putting my age down. I just had another birthday a few days ago. :scared1: In the past few years, I find I can't handle the spinning rides so well. Especially the Tilt-a-Whirl! :crazy2: :scared: I actually yelled on that one and the guy stopped it to let me off!

Thanks everyone for your replies. :D

Pin Wizard the last time I went on the Tilt-a-Whirl the operator saw me, and kept an eye on me the entire ride just in case he had to stop. (He almost did stop it when he first saw me  )

Looks like I am just going to enjoy all the other things Disney has to offer and just stay away from the rides. ::yes::

The only difference I have noticed is the rides I never liked but would ride anyway because everyone else wanted to ride...I now say NOPE.

I'm actually getting braver as I get older. I'm afraid of heights but I've managed to put that aside and ride a lot of coasters. Even though I don't think I could ride Top Thrill Dragster! :scared1:
