DH came home from work this morning & said it was his turn to pick his winter leave. I had had my heart set on going to DLRP the first week in November (it was a holiday for my 40th), and after much persuading, DH had agreed. But there is no leave in November & even worse - he has to go to Dublin for 3 weeks refresher training instead. So I'll be stuck home with the girls on my own for 3 weeks! The choice of leave wasn't great - October or January being left, so he has picked the fortnight 19th - 1st Nov. So now I'm thinking of going 18th - 25th October & he has said OK. So we'll still be able to avail of the BOGOF annual passes, DD2 will still be under 2 so no airfare & the weather shouldn't be too cold - I hate the cold. I have never seen the Hallowe'en decorations & I am sure DD1(6) will love them & equally sure that DD2(22 mths) will hate them! Maybe I should book the flights tomorrow (already priced at £186 return for us all including luggage costs) before prices go up or DH changes his mind & just hope he is off the 18th as well.
Just wanted to share my excitement with you all!
