yeah, ain't PETA something wasting taxpayer's money.... They are even opposing Kansas from naming the Cairn Terrier (Toto's breed) the offical state dog of Kansas because they fear that it will increase the number of puppy mills in Kansas. http://www.kansas.com/2012/02/02/2199796/peta-opposes-making-toto-state.html

As a former breeder, Kansas has strict regulations about breeding, include some of the strictest on how many puppies you can produce per year, living conditions for the animals, vet care, etc.

I'm surprised PETA does take up the "forced indenture" of Mickey & friends at the parks.

This reminded me that a couple months ago, PETA came to a small near by town here in TX named Turkey to ask the town to change it's name to Tofu, TX instead. They even gave out free tofu burgers to the residents. Needless to say, the town is still Turkey, TX!!

Oy. There may be people on the board who support PETA. While you may disagree, I don't think it's funny to make mental health jokes. We all value different things- some enjoy petting a cow while others enjoying eating a cow, but that doesn't mean either is ultimately right or wrong.
