Just found out that I won a trip to Orlando from Woman's Day magazine!!! A trip for 4, including flights from Airtran, 4 nights at Staybridge Suites on International Drive, rental car, and a $250 attraction voucher redemable at the Orlando Visitor Center! Yay!!! I've never won anything like this before! I just called my friend, and asked if she & her 4 year old DD want to go with my 3 year old DD & I (I also have an 18 month old, but she's going to stay home this trip). Oh, I'm going to have to try to get reservations for Cindy's breakfast for the girls!!!

So has anyone ever stayed at Staybridge Suites?

Congratulations!!!! What a great time of year to win something like that. I've never stayed at a Staybridge Suites, but I'm sure it's very nice.

I stayed at the one in LBV and it was real nice, try to request and inside room!

How wonderful for you!

That's terrific!! Good for you. Have fun and say hi to Mickey for me. :wave2:

Cool! Have a great time!

I've had family stay at a Staybridge in Anaheim and they really liked it.

Awesome! Have a great time. I never win cool things like that... lol

Cool, how did they contact you to let you know you won.

I got home Friday evening after work to find that I had a message on my answering machine from someone at Woman's Day, saying that they had ggod news, anf this was NOT a telemarketing call. I knew I had entered some of their sweeps, so I figured I must have won something. Since I think most sweeps just send smaller prizes without any advance notice, I figured it must be something big. So, I called the person back this morning, and she told me that I had been selected as the winner for the trip.

I won a trip on the radio a couple of years ago and it was airfare with Air Trans and accomodations at Staybridge Suites. We were quite surprised at how much we enjoyed Staybridge. The LBV location is right next door to a Winn Dixie which was so convenient. I did encounter some problems with getting clean towels. And I complained about the lack of cleanliness of their bath tubs, but for free, it was wonderful. I would even stay there again, but if I were paying I wouldn't go to the Winn Dixie and buy cleaning supplies for the tub. I'd complain and have them come up and clean it to my satisfaction, but hey, for free, I did a little cleaning. Just so you don't think it was a complete rat hole, my problem is that the tub/shower units are two pieces. The tub and the wall surrond meet about four inches above the tub. If you showered, you wouldn't notice this, but when bathing my daughter, I could see mildew where the two pieces joined.
