I haven't watched any news channel after the first day. It drove me nuts then and I can only imagine how bad it is going to get.

I heard on news that when the ticket holder receives ticket a wrist band will be put on and then checked very closely at entrance. If there is any alteration at all, the ticket holder will not get in. This is to eliminate scalping.

which means that there will be riots at the service when someone that paid 15K or so for a ticket off ebay gets bounced.

The cops at the Staples center said they are putting a WIDE perimeter (blocks wide,) around the Staples Center and closing down the street so the people on the streets can't even get close to it. The large screen TVs will not be functioning, and the only way to see the memorial will be from your Tv at home. Probably too many fans will have it on their iPods on the curbs.

I don't know why they city didn't tell the jackson family to have the memorial in Pomona instead, where the County Fair is held. Much larger, open space, more remote, no buildings or busy city streets to get overrun & trashed by the massive crowds. And if there's any rioting, they'd only damage a bunch of trees.


One of the TV stations, ABC or NBC, said this is "Remembering MJ week." I thought, isn't that what were they doing last week?
