I WILL get to experience Stitch's Great Escape!!

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just had to share my good news!!!!!!
You may remember that about a week ago I wrote a thread about Stitch's Great Escape. I had asked about soft opening, AP openings, etc. I got pretty disapppointed when I found out that I would just miss the opening. We leave in 2 weeks to go on our very first Disney Cruise then we will hit the parks after the cruise. We will only be in the park Nov. 11-13 because the cruise is 4 nights at the beginning of the week. I was so upset because it looked like we would miss Stitch opening by just 3 days.
Well, GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?!?!!? We found out that our dear friends from Texas, that we haven't seen in a couple of years, are going to WDW for their anniversary just four days after we leave! My dh surprised me and told me that we will go BACK to WDW on November 18 (4 days after we drive home from our first trip) so that we can spend the weekend at the parks with our friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in shock!!!!!!!!!! I will get to go to my favorite place on earth twice in one week! I will get to experience Stitch's Great Adventure!!!!!!! And I will get to see our friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How great is that?!?!?!?! I am so thrilled that I can hardly stand it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot remember what people told me about soft opening. (Was it sometime this month..........?) I do know that AP holders can try at the beginning of November. It is supposed to open to everyone on November 16.
That is what I have read, anyway.
If I am wrong I hope someone will let me know so that I can prepare myself.

That's great news . It'll also allow you to relax a bit while in the parks knowing that you'll be coming right back to finish up what you might have missed.

Good for you!!!! Would it be asking too much for you to go 25 miles out of the way to pick me up on your way down??? I won't take up much room and I don't eat very much. You won't even know I'm there!! Ha ha.....have a great time....twice!!

I was there Oct. 12th and they did have a "soft opening" of sorts for one veiwing of Stitch..... I let my family do it and I babysat the little ones. They only did it once so I wasn't able to switch off. I was bummed. Oh well there is always next year. BTW my family wasn't impressed. The adults thought it was so so. The two 5 year olds really enjoyed it. Especially when Stitch burped up a chilli dog!!!! P.U.!
