I just finished doing the grocery and our dry goods are packed. Just got done ironing some clothes and is now packed. Got all the confirmation papers... trading pins lanyard... my misty fan... sunblocks... sunglasses.. Pal Mickey... Passport to WS... autograph books... digital camera and camcorder and my smile!! Last but not least.. my children!!

I totally feel you, we went for a month in June, DCL next month and then back for Christmas week. I just stopped telling family and work. We just go have a great time and enjoy being together as a family, uninterrupted by everyday life.

This past year we got anual passes on Feb 25th. We were there Feb 25th to March 3rd. Then we just had to go back again and the next best time for us was May. We we went April 29th to May 6th. So we were in WDW for at least one day in Feb, March, April and May! Our friends thought we were nuts too. It was great and both times we got great airfare on Spirit.

They are offereing some great deals right now. Too bad we decided no more summer trips for us to WDW. (too hot and rainy.) So we won't be back until Jan (AP still good.) Just hope the airfare is good. I just saw $79 each way but I am holding out some. My family thinks we are nuts.

So sorry to hear about your DH. My brothers wife passed away 7 years ago now and being a single parent is not easy. Sorry to be so curious but was it illness or an accident there? PM if you don't want to say, I understand. You must be so strong to still go with your family and keep it magical.

I know you are gone. but i wanted to say you are lucky! your children are beautiful, and you surround yourself with love and beautiful memories, good for you! i cried reading this post today, bittersweet. I am proud of you for discovering what most of us search for, that life is too short and our kids dont stay little long enough. YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!

I am just taking advantage of their summer vacation. Once the school starts, the next time I can make it to Disney would probably be Easter, which is my Birthday week! And... "Life is too short!" I just want to enjoy my children while they are still little. Once they become a teenagers, I know it won't be the same anymore.

Telly, I know you must already be gone on your trip, but I just want to wish you the best and tell you that if you raise those kids right, they'll still love WDW when they're teenagers! We took our DD the first time when she was 18 months old, and we've been going ever since. She's 17 now, and just as crazy for Disney World as she was when she was little. There has never been a time in her life when she wasn't thrilled to go there. She can never understand teens who are too "cool" for WDW.

All of those trips together are very special memories for our little family (hubby, DD, and me), and I know it's part of what's kept us close.
