We went to DCA and went on Monsters, Inc. There were CMs doing a survey at the exit and we thought maybe they might have VMK cards so we asked them. Nope, no VMK cards and they invited us to go to the Information Booth if we needed further information.

At the info booth, the chic was kind of rude. She said, "If you look at the webpage it says to check back for information. Right now we don't know when we are going to offer cards." I told her that I thought that the memory game was originally supposed to start on 1/6 but that the information had been replaced with, "the middle of January". To which she kind of rudely replied that the website says to check back there for more information and that it isn't even a guarantee that they will offer the cards this month.

We went on California Screamin' and then headed home. We didn't even bother going over to the Magic Shop to see if they had cards. They've been out for over two months. I'm kind of in an Anti-VMK mode right now. The CM could have been factually correct, but it was her delivery that REALLY sucked. I haven't left Disneyland so bummed since the day I learned that they had taken out the cotton candy machines!

They took out the cottoncandy machines?!?!

Sorry you had a bad day. When I go to WDW in June I will cry if they don't have any VMK cards.

that is really rude!! I would be bummed too. hope u get the doors soon.

It's all just on the cart stuff now. Back in the good ol' days, you'd get an extra big cotton candy with your birthday sticker. Oh well, guess we can go get our bag of tortillas now :)

arg! i know what you mean! i have been going crazy about those silly magic mirror cards! they have not had them in forever! i keep coming back in hopes they will appear. i should just have them call me! and i am anxious for those cards to come out for the ride. i'm wondering if they are having printing issues?

So is the "California Adventure" a separate park from Disneyland?

Yes it is.

My husband has been to all the Disney parks but Hong Kong and the California Adventure. He went opening day to the one in Japan and has the t-shirt to prove it. LOL

I've only been to WDW ones, and only 4 of those, not the water parks.

How cool!

I really want to go to DCA, but with the world and cruise right here, I just can't justify the extra expense due to airfare.

I went to Japan and France with my college marching band. We got to go backstage, too! We went to WDW for a week stay and have had APs for Disneyland for a long time. I think it's MousePlanet, but there's a group of people going to Japan and have an add-on pre-trip to Hong Kong. I wish I could go. I would love to take a 5-stop tour :earsgirl:
