DH made a comment last night that had me anxious to weigh in early, I waited until this morning and decided I had to check and sure enough since Tuesday I have lost 3 pounds!!! :) I had a hard day yesterday, seemed like I was hungry all day, I must have eaten every vegetable known to man, so I am glad I weighed in a few days early, it has motivated me to stay on track. Just wanted to share my good news.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Awesome!!!!!! That is great news!!!

So tell me, how is the produce over there? Do you think it tastes and better/fresher than what you used to get at the grocery store here (assuming that you got your produce from the grocery store in the states).

Keep up the great work! Nothing like a good loss to keep you motivated. :) :) :) :) :)

That's great news about your weight loss! But good for your for choosing vegetables for your hunger! Sometimes that's a trap for me, so I'm greatful when DH has the veggies already cut and washed! Keep up the good work!

Fantastic news Tigger!!!

Keep it up.

The power of seeing smaller numbers on the scale is a wonderful motivator!!!

Tig, the produce over here is great! I love going to the stand and picking out my fresh veggies. I think I eat more veggies here because they are so much fresher than in the supermarket. Since I started back on WW I have been going every couple of days. Today I bought some strawberries and they were simply yummy. The other day it was fresh pineapple......yummmm!

Debbie, chosing vegetables is a new choice for me, I was never a big vegetable person, especially since I had to clean them before I could eat them. But I am discovering new veggies every week that are quite good and they actually do fill you up. It was a lot harder when I worked full-time, less time for things like this, but now that I am geographically unemployed I have more time on my hands.

Thanks to you both for the encouragement, I can use all I can get.

Debbi

In fact it is, John. I needed the pick me up after my difficult day yesterday. Today is a lot better.

GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!

I think when you eat the proper things, especially on the days when you are starving and it would be so easy to eat wrong, it gives you strength to keep going because you know you can do it!!!

I'm so proud of you!!!

Wow Debbi -- that is Tiggerrrrific!;)

I'd love some veggie ideas. Maybe you would be willing to start a seperate thread and include some of the ways you prepare your veggies.
:D

That's great news. You're doing a great job!

CONGRATS!!!!!!! :)

I am a bit frustrated here because it's been almost 2 weeks now that I've doing Weight Watchers and I KNOW I've lost weight because my jeans are loose, but my meeting this past Tuesday got cancelled because of the almost-3 feet of snow. LOL THREE more days till I know how much I've lost! If this wasn't the very beginning of my diet I don't think I'd be wondering as much!!!!!! LOL

Hey, TL! :)

I bet you have a wonderful selection of produce at the market! We visited my family in England last year and I couldn't get over how good simple things like lettuce and cucumbers tasted! MUCH better than what we get at the grocery store here. I love salads with yummy dressing, but over there the salads didn't need so much dressing because the veggies were so fresh and tasty. Almost makes me want to grow my own! ;)

Hope you are having fun! Have a strawberry for me!
