I thought it was OK, but kinda predictable plot (i.e. Big city dude goes into small town, etc. etc.) but otherwise OK. The only major thought in my head during the entire time was "Jeremy Clarkson is in it". I have to admit, I don't agree with Pixar's idea to make it more european, but it worked on me. :)

The short was SO funny! I loved every second of it. It sure beat the incredibles short; while addictive it wasn't that good. Still, I thought the incredibles was a good film.

Stay after the credits; John Ratzenberger says something very funny! Oh, and you get to see the after effects of what happened in the film, but the former is what is most important.

Enjoy; I would probably give it a 7/10. Not as good as Incredibles, but still watchable.

We watched it too and I must agree with Matt it was predictable, we did love it though! Mater is my favourite - he is so cute! Can't wait until it is released on DVD! :teeth:

Taking about Cars THE MASTER someone who knows you sent me this ditty about you!

Sing to Amarillo

I am on the way to the supermarket,
I have a car and I cant park it,
No tax and no MOT
And the cops are after me.

I know I was in the bus lane,
But honestly I am not to blame
I didn't see the bus pull out,
But I herd a small clout.

Please let me off with a couple of points,
Judge honestly I am not on those joints,
Look at all this reputation mail,
No no please not to jail!

Thanks for the review Matt ~ I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Hiya!

We just got back from a night out and managed to get a seat in the cinema. The film was great, one of the best from Pixar me thinks. Although it may be predictable, still worth the watch! When I first heard Jeremy Clarkson as "Harv" I was'nt too sure, and to be honest Im still not....

8/10 =]

Must have missed something, what does Jeremy Clarkson have to do with it??

Jeremy Clarkson is on a programme called Top Gear so he is very famous in the UK for been a car buff. I assume that most countries had this bit voiced by somebody similar for them

We went last night with friends and all four of us loved it!

The short before the film was excellent, I nearly cried!

The Animation/Graphics was the best ever, I really dont think it can be improved on for the next couple of films

The story, altough predictable was very good and at two hours it was a long film but never boring

I would say 9/10 :thumbsup2

Oh, and DO stay for the credits!

we went to see it yesterday with dd who is 4 and she complained that it was boring so we had to leave before it was finished. I think it was a bit to old for her.

Last night there was a young family in, two girls about 4 & 2 and they didnt watch a thing. The kids were just playing with a couple of toys then the youngest started screaming so had to be taken out and when she came back both kids fell asleep!

We went saturday, I did enjoy it, the animation was up to the usual pixar standard but I agree with Matt, a wee bit predictable. The animated short 'One man band' prior to the main film was fantastic and exactly what we've come to expect from Pixar
