I was told today that my POR room rate went up!

Bummer. Due to school, we had to modify our reservation to arrive at POR on April 17 rather than April 15. We have two rooms. I was told that our AAA discount was no good after April 15. That cost us about $400.00! What's up with this? Is there no hope for AP discounts for mid April?

Ouch! It would be my guess that AAA discounts are limited and that being that is Easter week, the discounts are gone. I hope there will be AP Holder discounts for that time, but all the code discounts have skipped over Easter.

You just switched your check in date and I bet you went for a value season to high season rate. If you check in before the high season you get to keep the value rate which you were doing before.

Easter time is peak season for Disney. Discounts for the weeks surrounding Easter are limited in number and usually not nearly as good as those available at less crowded times of the year.
